I created an app using Adobe XD called ‘Eventish’ which allows university students- especially freshers to book events including sports socials. You have the option of filtering these events to involve alcohol or not. I chose to design an app that focuses on this because I feel that lots of people (especially in a university setting) feel very pressured to drink as there are not many things to do that don't involve it. So, therefore, by using my app people will be able to see different events where they will be able to socialise with like-minded people who feel the same. I completed several user interviews and questionnaires, and it was clear that this was a reoccurring issue that was brought up. The app is inclusive and will suit everyone’s preferences.
I was able to use a variety of new skills and techniques to design this app as I had never used Adobe XD before.
