We were tasked with turning Tristan Tzara’s 3 page Dada Manifesto into a visually exciting, 32-page book. I used letters cut from magazines and then edited them using the threshold setting on photoshop. I chose this because I felt that it looked like a similar outcome to using the letterpress however saved a lot of time due to it being digital manipulation rather than manual.
I then used these letters to form the sentences I needed for my spread. These key quotes were taken from the Dada Manifesto.
I decided that I thought it would look interesting to turn the page of quotes into the front cover of the book. After playing around with the colour scheme I decided that I was happy with the outcome due to the fact it gives you a preview into what you may find inside the book.
